Back to School
Essay Contest
Contest will begin on Friday, June 27 and run until August
31, 2008. Judging will take place in September. School age children, first through twelve, will submit an
essay, 200 words or less, explaining “What AAFES means to me
and my family.” |

| The twelve winning essays will be
published along with photos of the winners in a “Military
Spouse” calendar, which will be available in late
October/early November in retail stores. |

gives family and friends the ability to send a variety of
holiday messages to loved ones. |

| The AAFES “It’s My
Benefit” Video Ad Contest ended on Feb. 15,
2008. Customers entered over 21 video’s explaining what
the military exchange and MWR benefit means to them. The
winners, prizes and 1st place video can be seen by

This!” POG Photo Contest ended on Feb. 15, 2008. AAFES
received 595 photos depicting the essence of activities in
OEF/OIF and activities in support of deployed troops
